Our Clove Bud Essential Oil is steam distilled from the dried flower buds of the clove tree (Syzygium aromaticum). It is colorless to light yellow with a strong, spicy aroma. This oil contains Eugenol, a phenol that provides the oil's aroma and therapeutic properties.

Clove Oil (aceite clava de olor) has hundreds of uses including aromatherapy, toothache pain relief and muscle pain relief. In all cases, it must be diluted carefully.

In the Diffuser: Add 3 to 5 drops per 100 ml of water.

For Tooth ache Relief: Dilute a few drops of clove oil in an edible carrier oil such as olive or coconut. Dab onto affected tooth. Reapply as necessary until you can see a dentist. Stop using if irritation occurs.

DIY Massage Oil: Dilute clove oil with Jojoba, Coconut Oil, or your favorite carrier oil. Use 15 drops of clove oil per ounce of carrier oil to create a 2.5% solution.
